Help Me Build a Better Classroom Library

posted Dec 19, 2016, 6:03 AM by Katherine Ritter

I want to make sure my students have the materials they need to succeed, so I created a request for my classroom at DonorsChoose.org: Library Powered by Students.

Give to my classroom by December 20 and your donation will be doubled thanks to DonorsChoose.org.  Just enter the code LIFTOFF on the payment page and you'll be matched dollar for dollar (up to $50).

If you chip in to help my students, you'll get awesome photos and our heartfelt thanks.

Thanks so much,

P.S. If you know anyone who may want to help my classroom, please pass this along!

Barnes and Noble Holiday Book Drive for MANSD Schools

posted Nov 14, 2016, 2:09 PM by Katherine Ritter

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

I am writing to let you know about our exciting collaboration with Barnes and Noble Bookstore located at 1741 South Willow Street in Manchester. Manchester School District Librarians are working with Barnes and Noble to expand our library book collections during the Barnes and Noble Holiday Book Drive.  We hope you will consider stopping by the Barnes and Noble Bookstore on South Willow Street and purchasing one or more of the books we selected.

The cashier will direct you to the NW box of books from which you select a book(s) for purchase. After you purchase a book(s) the cashier will keep your purchase until all the books are distributed to the MANSD libraries, in December.

I will be adding books to the boxes as books are purchased.  Your generosity will assist the Northwest Library in our goal to provide interesting new books for your children to read and enjoy.
